Helpful Tips
- These ranges are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, or if you are not feeding Prescription Diet® w/d® Canine for weight management, ask your veterinarian.
- Keep fresh water available at all times! If switching from a canned product, make sure your pet drinks an adequate quantity of water to avoid constipation.
- With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period.
- Prescription Diet® w/d® Canine is available in canned and dry. Supplementation with other foods may decrease the effectiveness of the food.
- When using with w/d® Canine canned, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
- Use only as directed by your veterinarian, the expert on your pet's health needs.
- To prevent suffocation, keep this plastic bag out of the reach of pets and children.
